Our Initiative

See The Mountain

Our team identified obstacles in our community and we are working together to help with the following Initiatives.

Supply 4:19
Rooted in Philippians 4:19, this truckload program is growing with 12 partners and counting. We aim to meet the basic needs of families in our community.
Short-Term Missions
This year, we’ll host short-term mission teams locally, modeled after the LA Dream Center. Volunteers will support our initiatives and partner with other nonprofits.
Diaper Day Bank

The Diaper Bank is our monthly hand out of baby supplies and diapers. Countless families have been blessed with supplies needed to not only be successful, but to thrive.

The Well, our food pantry

The Well Food Pantry Schedule

Registration and Intake are held in person on Mondays from 9 AM–1 PM and 3 PM–6 PM.

Food distribution for registered Well guests takes place on Tuesdays from 8:30 AM–11:30 AM and 3 PM–6 PM.

Please check our Mountain Guest Calendar for any scheduled closures or changes.

Community Garden

Our community garden team teaches attendees how to create a garden to reap the best harvest. Attendees, the community and The Well Food Pantry all reap from the community garden.

Back 2 School Bash

Our annual back to school bash serves over 1,000 students each year with back to school backpacks, school supplies, clothes and haircuts to help students have a good start to their school year.

Healthcare

We connect our community to vital healthcare resources, services, and support to help individuals and families stay healthy and informed

Disaster Relief

We are here to help if a disaster hits are area. In the past, we served as a shelter for the City of Manvel during Hurricane Harvey. During Winter Storm Uri, we provided our space as a warming center and provide hot meals and hot showers.
